WHAT I TREAT
An online pile-on, a workplace scandal, a story that spread through your community, a mistake made public. Whether or not it was fair, the nervous system experiences public judgement as a threat to survival — because, evolutionarily, it was.
Whatever was said, and whoever said it — this does not get to be the end of your story.

Scanning every room, every feed, every face for judgement.
Reading the comments, the posts, the messages — and going back for more.
Avoiding places, people and platforms where you might be recognised.
Believing the worst version of the story is the truth about you.
The moment, the post, the meeting — on loop.
A body that floods at a notification or a glance.
Especially when what was said wasn’t true, or wasn’t the whole truth.
Not knowing who you are now that a version of you exists that you didn’t write.
Pushing away support because you feel unworthy of it.
A dark, exhausted wish to simply not be seen at all.
WHY ‘IGNORE THEM’ HASN’T WORKED
For most of human history, being cast out by the group was a death sentence. Your body hasn’t updated. Being judged by many people at once is registered as an existential threat, not an opinion.
THE PREFRONTAL CORTEX
Knowing it’ll pass, that they don’t know you, that the internet moves on — the level well-meaning advice works at. It’s true. It can’t switch off the alarm below.
THE LIMBIC SYSTEM
A nervous system that reads mass judgement as banishment, and responds with the full survival cascade. Settle it there, and you get your footing back — which is exactly where my work goes, gently.
You know they’ll forget. Your nervous system thinks you’ve been cast out of the tribe. That’s the gap perspective can’t bridge.
WHAT A SESSION INVOLVES
We begin gently, at your pace, building a felt sense of safety before anything else. You never have to recount what was said. You’re in control, always.
A simple, gentle process, a little like a visualisation, that stands the alarm down and separates who you are from what was said about you. You stay fully conscious and safe throughout.
Then we build forward — your identity, your boundaries, your ability to be seen again without bracing. Most clients feel a noticeable shift by the end of their very first session.
My personal mission is to get my client at least some relief, from their very first session.
REAL STORIES, REAL RESULTS
Sarah is a person who can connect to anyone instantly. She gets you and is passionate to get you to where you want to be. She has done it for herself and she has the tools to get you there. You won’t regret it.
Sarah’s approach is wildly unconventional — and effective! Therapists I’ve seen previously have wanted me to rehash my past until I’m blue in the face. Literally a life-changing experience.
WHY WORK WITH ME
Whatever happened, you won’t be tried again here. Whether the story was unfair, partly true or something you regret, the way through is the same.
You’ll never be asked to recount what was said or read the comments aloud. The approach resolves the shock without reopening it.
Confidential, independent and entirely off the record. The one place this isn’t public.
Private practice means no GP referral and no Medicare waitlist. Begin when you’re ready.
IS THIS RIGHT FOR YOU?
If you’re having thoughts of harming yourself, please contact Lifeline on 13 11 14 or 000 right now — public shaming is a recognised risk, and you deserve immediate support. Otherwise, the free consult is exactly where we work out, gently, whether this is right for you.
AND IF I’M NOT THE RIGHT HELP?
My promise.
Sometimes the aftermath of public shaming sits on something older — earlier trauma, a mood disorder, or a level of need that calls for specialist care alongside this work.
If that becomes apparent while we’re working together, I won’t leave you to work it out alone. Your investment goes toward identifying what’s actually going on and coaching you toward the right approach — and I’ll act as your champion through the system, so you get a shortcut instead of years of trial and error.
I can’t stand the thought of needless suffering. You’ll be delivered safely to the right help, either way.
In 98% of the cases I take on, I am the right help. The other 2% leave with a clear path to the person who is.

DID YOU KNOW?
LET’S BE HONEST
The rooms you avoid. The comments you still read. The life shrunk down to what feels safe from judgement. None of that has to be the shape of your life.
So let’s get you standing again. Gently. Together.
BEFORE YOU BOOK
Then you’re human, and you made a mistake. That doesn’t entitle anyone to what a pile-on does. Guilt that fits the facts is useful and passes; shame that says you are the mistake is what we resolve.
No. You never have to recount it or read it aloud. We work with the nervous-system response, not the content.
That’s a strategic decision, and a settled nervous system makes it far better than a flooded one. We steady you first; then those choices get clearer, and I’ll help you think them through.
No. You remain fully conscious and in control at every moment. The change work is gentle, closer to a guided visualisation than anything you’ve seen on stage.
Ready when you are.
Book your free 15-minute consult. We’ll talk gently about what happened, and exactly how I can help you get your footing back.
