“You don’t have to carry this alone.”

Ready to breathe again, without letting go of what you’ve lost?

“I came to Sarah completely shattered after the stillbirth of my daughter. I still miss my baby every day, but I am no longer drowning in it. I can breathe again.”

ON THE LOSS OF HER BABY

WHAT I TREAT

This grief shows up in many ways.

It’s the hope and the devastation, month after month. The baby you held, or never got to. The toll on your body, your relationship and your sense of who you are. It deserves real support, not platitudes.

However it happened, and however long ago — you don’t have to carry this alone, or like this.

Sarah Buckle
01.

Grief the world doesn’t recognise

Mourning a person, or a future, that others don’t see as a loss.

02.

The monthly cycle of hope and loss

Living two weeks at a time, bracing for the result.

03.

Anxiety about your body

A body that feels like it has failed you, or can’t be trusted.

04.

Guilt and what-ifs

Replaying every choice, every symptom, every appointment — carrying blame that was never yours.

05.

Anger and envy

At announcements, baby showers, the ease it seems to come to everyone else — and shame about feeling it.

06.

Strain in your relationship

Grieving differently, and feeling alone inside it together.

07.

Numbness

Feeling nothing when you ‘should’ feel everything — the system protecting you.

08.

Dread of trying again

Wanting it, and terrified of going through it once more.

09.

Withdrawing

Avoiding the people, places and conversations that make it unbearable.

10.

Loss of identity

When motherhood was the future you built everything around.

WHY TIME AND ‘YOU CAN TRY AGAIN’ HAVEN’T HELPED

This isn’t grief that’s failing to heal.

People mean well. Time will help, they say. You can try again. But you’ve given it time, and some mornings it’s as heavy as the first day.

THE PREFRONTAL CORTEX

Where you know what happened.

Understanding, statistics, the doctor’s explanation — the level reassurance works at. It knows it wasn’t your fault. It can’t reach the ache below.

THE LIMBIC SYSTEM

Where loss actually registers.

The seat of attachment and alarm. When shock, guilt or the way it happened gets tangled into a loss, it keeps firing as though the rupture is still happening — which is where my work goes, gently.

You know it wasn’t your fault. Part of you is still bargaining, still bracing, still searching. That’s the gap time alone can’t bridge.

WHAT A SESSION INVOLVES

Three simple steps.

01.

START WHERE YOU ARE

We begin gently, at your pace — with the loss and the weight exactly as they are. You never have to recount the hardest moments. You’re in control, always.

02.

FREE WHAT’S STUCK

A simple, gentle process, a little like a visualisation, that releases the guilt, the shock and the alarm tangled into your loss, so grief can move instead of loop. You stay fully conscious and safe throughout.

03.

CONFIRM THE SHIFT

Before you leave, we confirm the change has settled — so you don’t just hope it feels different, you feel that it does. Lighter isn’t the same as forgetting.

My personal mission is to get my client at least some relief, from their very first session.

REAL STORIES, REAL RESULTS

What it feels like on the other side.

Sarah helped me untangle the grief from the self-blame and stop internalising it as a personal failure. I no longer feel broken. I feel like I’m allowed to grieve, and I’m allowed to keep going.
Through her work, I was able to finally process what happened without being overwhelmed by it. I still miss my baby every day, but I am no longer drowning in it.

WHY WORK WITH ME

The difference you’ll actually feel.

01.

NO TIMELINES, EVER

You’ll never be told where you should be by now, or that it’s time to try again. We work at the pace of your nervous system — the only timeline that’s real.

02.

THE LOVE STAYS

Grief is the shape love takes after loss. My work is with what’s trapping you inside it: the guilt, the shock, the alarm. The love, and the memory, stay exactly where they belong.

03.

GENTLE BY DESIGN

You’ll never be asked to recount or relive the worst moments. The approach frees what’s stuck without reopening the wound to heal it.

04.

NO WAITLIST, NO REFERRAL

Private practice means no GP referral and no Medicare waitlist. Begin when you’re ready.

IS THIS RIGHT FOR YOU?

My approach isn’t for everyone — and I’d rather be honest about that.

This is for you if…

  • The loss is still shaping your daily life — months or years on, you can’t find your way back
  • You’re functioning on the outside and quietly falling apart in private
  • Guilt, anger or the way it happened has you stuck — looping instead of grieving
  • You’re carrying a loss the people around you don’t fully recognise

It may not be the fit if…

  • You’re in acute crisis and need immediate clinical or psychiatric support right now
  • The loss is only days old — right now you need your people, ritual and rest. I’ll be here when you’re ready
  • You’re looking for ongoing, open-ended talk therapy rather than structured support
  • You’re not quite ready — and with this, that timing deserves deep respect

This deserves gentleness, never a hard sell. The free consult is exactly where we work out, unhurried, whether this is right for you — and if specialist or medical support would serve you better, I’ll say so honestly.

AND IF I’M NOT THE RIGHT HELP?

My promise.

I’ll get you to whoever is.

Sometimes this grief is being held in place by something underneath it — trauma from how it happened, a mood disorder, or something that needs medical care alongside, or instead of, this work.

If that becomes apparent while we’re working together, I won’t leave you to work it out alone. Your investment goes toward identifying what’s actually going on and coaching you toward the right approach — and I’ll act as your champion through the system, so you get a shortcut instead of years of trial and error.

I can’t stand the thought of needless suffering. You’ll be delivered safely to the right help, either way.

In 98% of the cases I take on, I am the right help. The other 2% leave with a clear path to the person who is.

DID YOU KNOW?

I can also help you resolve…

  • Grief and loss
  • Anxiety
  • Guilt and self-blame
  • Trauma and shock
  • Sadness and low mood
  • Health anxiety
  • Relationship strain
  • Loss of identity
  • Anger and resentment
  • Sleeplessness
  • Overthinking and rumination
  • Loneliness and isolation

LET’S BE HONEST

You don’t need to keep carrying this alone.

The announcements you can’t face. The joy you refuse yourself because it feels like betrayal. The life on hold, two weeks at a time, waiting for a ‘better’ that time alone isn’t delivering. None of that has to be the shape of your life.

So let’s let grief move the way it’s meant to. Gently. Together.

BEFORE YOU BOOK

Your questions, answered.

01.Will you try to make me move on?

Never. Grief is the shape love takes after loss, and the love is not the problem. We work only with what’s trapping you inside the grief, so you can carry it with love instead of agony.

02.Is this for infertility, or only for loss?

Both. The grief of infertility — the monthly hope and devastation, the body that feels like it’s failing you — is real grief, often without a moment the world recognises. It deserves exactly the same care.

03.Do I have to talk through everything that happened?

No. Because we work with the subconscious rather than re-analysing the past, you never have to recount the hardest details. You share only what you choose to, and you remain safe and in control at every moment.

04.Can this help if we’re still trying?

Yes. Many women come to me between cycles, or before deciding whether to try again. Resolving the shock and the fear doesn’t change your decision — it lets you make it from a steadier place.
